ICE & FIRE

We have so much to tell you about this event, so we thought we would start from the beginning. As guests arrived they notice the elevators at the Short Hills Hilton received a little makeover, with piping and draping, fun chandeliers and Dylan’s logo applied to the front of each one. Talk about setting the stage for what was about to come!

The ballroom floor was covered in white carpeting. Enhancements custom-built for this event were a twelve foot long bar and nine foot illuminated columns at each end, a plexi DJ booth and a one of a kind white plexi dance floor mirrored only around the edges. The center was an in-layed glittered logo also cut and made out of plexi!!!

The table scapes were “icy” with mirrored rings and orchids attached, these centerpieces were simple elegance. The snow like linens made just the right impact and setting for this elegant table which in our opinion was a true reflection of the family! The round menu cards were made of plexi, we then tied them with white ribbon that we designed with Dylan’s initials in rhinestones! The clear resin chairs were kept warm with white faux mink chair caps and rhinestone broach! All that mirrored did shine, down to Pure Energy’s plasma screens and the photos of Dylan which were framed in matching mirror as the dance floor. As guests entered into the ballroom, the Hilton at Short Hills was “game“ for creating the perfect chill for the room! The twist? More than halfway into the event, Dylan changed into a red dress and the room went from ice to HOT! A fun twist for guests and what a way to end an Extraordinary event!
